Job Description:

Role Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to meticulously prepare test cases and conduct comprehensive testing of the product/platform/solution intended for deployment at client sites, ensuring adherence to 100% quality assurance parameters.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand the test requirements and contribute to the design of test cases for the product.
2. Develop test plans aligned with business requirements and testable criteria.
3. Implement Wipro’s testing methodologies, including model-based testing, for efficient test case generation.
4. Collaborate with the development team to identify and document test cases, ensuring version control.
5. Define testing criteria, parameters, scope, and out-scope, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
6. Automate the test life cycle processes using VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc.
7. Design and execute automation frameworks and generate reports.
8. Develop and automate tests for software validation, including setting up test environments, designing test plans, and executing test cases.
9. Ensure timely detection and reporting of bugs and defects, adhering to project/program/account norms.
10. Prepare and share test progress reports and status dashboards with stakeholders.
11. Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, and quality risks to concerned stakeholders.
12. Maintain regular communication with customers, ensuring professionalism and adherence to SLAs.
13. Ensure timely delivery of work items within SLAs and norms, with no instances of rejection or slippage.
14. Update project-related trackers with accurate effort estimations and progress reports.
15. Promptly address customer requests and complaints, both internally and externally.

Stakeholder Interaction:

• Internal: Regular reporting and updates to Lead Test Engineer and Project Manager. Coordination with software developers for testing solutions.
• External: Providing suitable solutions and support to clients as per their requirements.
