Job Description: As a Python Developer at Wipro, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of software within a cross-language REST based n-tier architecture. Your responsibilities will include driving design and architecture decisions, understanding business requirements, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with senior developers across different work streams. This position requires proficiency in agile methodologies such as Scrum, Test Driven Development, and pair programming.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire technology stack.
- Design and implement new features within existing Python services and develop new services to enhance the framework.
- Contribute to future design and architecture discussions.
- Collaborate with team members to plan work in an agile manner.
- Write acceptance tests in coordination with the QA team.
- Provide L3 user support and communicate effectively with business and platform partners.
- Enhance and optimize the CI pipeline and deployment strategies.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in designing and developing complex server-side functionality using Python.
- Exposure to object-oriented databases.
- Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
- Comfortable working in an agile environment.
- Self-starter with proactive attitude.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Experience with modern web UI technologies such as HTML5, React, and RESTful services.
