Job Description
Role Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to design, test, and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications to be deployed at client sites, ensuring they meet 100% quality assurance parameters.
Responsibilities:
- Understand product/software requirements and design.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, and work processes.
- Investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis of system issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance.
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible designs.
- Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts to investigate software requirements.
- Consult with project managers to understand software capabilities.
- Code software and ensure optimal module development.
- Determine operational feasibility of software solutions.
- Develop and automate processes for software validation.
- Modify software to fix errors, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Recommend and plan installation of new systems or modifications to existing systems.
- Ensure code is error-free and test failures are addressed.
- Prepare reports on programming project specifications and activities.
- Compile comprehensive and accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with the team on project status and progress.
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability.
- Report quality risks to stakeholders.
- Maintain regular communication with clients for requirements clarification and feedback.
- Participate in continuing education and training.
- Evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications.
- Document solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, etc.
- Ensure clear and formal documentation from proposal to implementation.
- Maintain good quality interaction with customers.
- Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.

- Regular reporting and updates to Lead Software Developer and Project Manager.
- Coordination with Software Developers for work support and testing solutions.
External:
- Provide appropriate solutions and support to clients as per requirements.
