Role Purpose:

The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for analyzing, identifying, rectifying, and recommending specific improvement measures to enhance the security posture of the organization by protecting sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

Customer Centricity and Security Operations:

• Ensure customer-centric cybersecurity services.
• Monitor and safeguard log sources and security access.
• Plan for disaster recovery in case of security breaches.
• Monitor for attacks, intrusions, and unauthorized activities.
• Perform complex log reviews and forensic analysis to detect unauthorized access to data or systems.
• Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and root cause analysis of security incidents.
• Handle incidents escalated by the L1 team in 24×7 rotational shifts.
• Use advanced analytics tools to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Complete all tactical security operations tasks associated with the engagement.
• Analyze attacks and provide remedial attack analysis.
• Conduct detailed analysis of incidents and generate reports and dashboards.

Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance:

• Liaise with stakeholders on cybersecurity issues and provide future recommendations.
• Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits related to information security.
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and delivering cybersecurity awareness training for colleagues.
• Provide advice and guidance on issues such as spam and malicious emails.
