Role Purpose

The primary goal of the role is to protect sensitive information by analyzing, identifying, rectifying, and recommending improvement measures to enhance the security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Customer-Centric Cybersecurity: Provide appropriate cybersecurity support, monitor and safeguard log sources and security access.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Prepare for potential security breaches.
  • Monitoring for Threats: Monitor attacks, intrusions, and unusual or unauthorized activities.
  • Forensic Analysis: Perform complex log reviews and forensic analysis to identify unauthorized access.
  • Incident Handling: Handle escalated incidents in a 24×7 rotational shift.
  • Threat Analysis: Use advanced analytics to identify emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Reporting: Conduct detailed incident analysis, create reports, and dashboards.

Stakeholder Coordination & Audit Assistance

  • Coordinate with stakeholders regarding cybersecurity issues and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and maintain a security risk register.
  • Support cyber security awareness training for colleagues.
  • Provide advice and guidance to employees on email-related security issues.

Stakeholder Interaction

  • Internal: Coordinate with Technical and Project Leads for regular updates, and work with Security Intelligence (Practice) teams for security reasons.
  • External: Collaborate with customers regarding security breaches and resolutions.
