Job Summary: As a Junior Analyst based in Gurugram, you will be responsible for auditing and reconciling vendor invoices under supervision. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in invoice processing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Audit and reconcile exception-based vendor invoices with high accuracy and speed.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and escalate issues as needed for prompt resolution.
- Maintain updated and accurate vendor accounts.
- Handle quality control issues effectively.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and incorporate new procedures into daily operations.
- Maintain professional communication with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Education: B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent accredited degree. In lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma or GED with four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: Minimum six (6) months of experience in Audit, Accounts & Finance, in addition to educational requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
- Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as reports and vendor correspondence.
- Math: Proficiency in calculations involving discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
- Reasoning: Ability to apply logical thinking to resolve issues based on provided instructions.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, database management, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Special Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and excellent verbal and written communication.
- Pace: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to meet vendor expectations.
Work Environment
- Physical Demands: Requires some physical effort, such as occasional handling of objects under 30 pounds.
- Occupational Risks: Rare exposure to occupational risks like cuts or exposure to chemicals.
- Environmental Conditions: Typically works in an office setting with minimal exposure to adverse elements.
