The role is part of the Central Strategy team, focusing on “Transformation, Advisory & Governance.” The primary responsibilities involve working with senior leadership and functional teams to manage and optimize enterprise-wide Software Asset Management (SAM) programs. This includes software license auditing, lifecycle management, compliance, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Asset Management: Manage and optimize software assets, reduce IT costs, and ensure compliance with software licensing.
- Process Improvement: Implement process improvements for deploying, tracking, and re-harvesting software licenses to maximize value.
- Compliance and Governance: Drive software license compliance across the organization and implement governance processes.
- Collaboration: Work with multiple departments (e.g., Global Technology Services, Finance, Vendor Management) to execute SAM programs and optimize software spend.
- Tool Optimization: Optimize software inventory management tools and contribute to long-term planning for technology tools.
- Cost Savings: Provide and track savings recommendations on software titles and publishers.
- Program Management: Establish program management frameworks, KPIs, and review cadences to support organizational priorities.
Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Familiarity with software contracts and licensing metrics.
- Experience managing software licenses for major publishers (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM).
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred:
- Master’s degree.
- Experience with SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, ServiceNow).
- Experience with governance frameworks and financial modeling.
- PMP certification or recent CSAM and CAMP certifications.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid Role: This role involves both remote work and assigned office days.
- Work Hours: May involve working from 2 PM to 10 PM to support onshore teams.
