Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer at Verizon, you’ll be working on inbound applications within the Google CCAI – Dialog Flow Platform and Microservices. This role is critical in supporting Verizon’s roadmap for Conversational Commerce, focusing on performance and scalability due to the high-volume nature of these applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire app lifecycle: design, build, deploy, test, release, and support.
Develop and integrate IVR applications using Google CCAI – Dialog Flow, Avaya OD, with a focus on microservice architecture, GCP Cloud Functions, and AWS Lambdas.
Participate actively in Agile/POD teams.
Ensure timely task completion with a focus on quality and productivity.
Conduct impact and risk analysis for change requests.
Use performance tools to monitor and ensure code performance.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to meet project deliverables and timelines.
Stay updated on industry trends in web and voice technologies.
Ensure security validations in design, coding, testing, and validation phases.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of relevant work experience.
IVR development experience with a focus on inbound applications.
Proficiency in Google CCAI – Dialog Flow Platform.
Experience in Microservice Development & Integration using Spring Boot and Spring React.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform – Cloud Functions.
Experience with DevOps tools like Git/Stash, JIRA, Confluence, Junit, Sonar, Fortify, Jenkins, and Prevoty.

Preferred Qualifications:
