About the Role:
As a Salesforce Application Developer within the Business Applications team at Uber, you will play a crucial role in implementing scalable Salesforce solutions. Your responsibilities will revolve around integrating internal and external platforms to deliver desired features, impacting Uber’s performance in user growth, safety, and global expansion.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and optimize Salesforce functionalities for B2B teams.
- Construct and configure APIs with both internal and third-party cloud solutions.
- Participate in code check-ins, deployments, and release management processes.
- Address architectural gaps or technical debt by improving and building solutions.
- Collaborate in story planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain technical documentation for business and compliance purposes.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on Salesforce system health and usage.
- Identify system improvements related to performance and scalability and refactor existing sub-optimal features.
- Work closely with solution architects, program managers, and engineers.
- Support QA efforts during implementations and rollouts of new system features.
What You’ll Need:
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and JavaScript.
- 4+ years of experience in Salesforce application development.
- Familiarity with Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce APIs and integration capabilities.
- Experience with Web UI frameworks in Visualforce pages or Lightning components.
- Strong command of Salesforce platform, its capabilities, and limitations.
- Solid grasp of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for technology, industry research, and problem-solving.
