About the Role:
Join Swiss Re as a DevSecOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and robust Azure API solutions. Utilize cutting-edge PaaS services like Azure Function Apps, Service Bus Queues, Azure Identity Management, Azure Storage, and Azure App Insights. Your responsibilities will include:
- API Development: Create and deploy cloud-native applications using Azure’s extensive suite of tools.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Work with Docker, Containers, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to manage and deploy applications.
- Toolchain Integration: Accelerate development velocity by integrating various tools within the DevOps ecosystem, ensuring security and quality.
- Automation: Enhance productivity by automating tasks using CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze the performance of solutions, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specs, API docs, and user guides.
About You:
We’re looking for a proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative, international environment. You should possess:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud-native application development, preferably with Microsoft technologies.
- Strong MSSQL database skills.
- Hands-on experience with container technology (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of best practices in logging, monitoring, and tracing for cloud platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps.
