About the Role
As a Data Analyst in the Digital & Analytics Bangalore team at Swiss Re, you will contribute to creating impactful end-to-end solutions that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of internal auditing. This position provides a unique opportunity to apply your technology and analytics skills within an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate Group Internal Audit (GIA) requirements into end-to-end solutions using existing applications and available reporting and automation technologies.
- Collaborate with IT and users to manage ongoing support activities.
- Identify and implement improvements while ensuring compliance with Swiss Re’s technology-related internal policies.

GIA offers independent and objective assurance to the Board of Directors and Group Executive Committee, safeguarding the organization’s assets, reputation, and sustainability. Our audit activities assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems and strive to enhance the Group’s operations. Education and Experience:
- University degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Proven experience in analyzing significant data volumes.
- Experience in meeting business requirements with technology solutions and supporting those solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL, at least one programming language (e.g., Python), and reporting/data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with agile working practices (e.g., scrum).
- Preferred experience with robotic process automation.
- Preferred experience working with internal audit or other assurance providers such as risk management and compliance.

- Critical thinker capable of seeing the “big picture,” generating innovative ideas, and making recommendations amid complexity and ambiguity.
