Position Overview:
We are looking for passionate SDETs to join our engineering team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our platform that supports the operations of thousands of restaurant partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional testing of mobile applications (Android/iOS) to ensure flawless performance.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate backend functionalities.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and cases for thorough test coverage.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, Postman, and Charles Proxy for efficient testing workflows.
- Manage the defect life cycle, including severity and priority assessments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to execute and validate test cases based on requirements.
- Demonstrate understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing concepts.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies.
- Fundamental knowledge of HTTP and REST concepts.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Selenium and Appium.
- Experience with Java, Selenium, or Appium is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cloud mobile testing tools like LambdaTest and BrowserStack is a plus.
Way of Working:
This is a remote-first position, offering the flexibility to work remotely throughout the year. Employees will gather in their base location for a week, once every quarter.
