Position Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at Solvative, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our software development lifecycle through automation and continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with developers and IT personnel, you will oversee code releases, enhance development tools and infrastructure, and ensure the security and efficiency of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Automating and optimizing development and release processes.
- Establishing and configuring development tools and infrastructure.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues through software updates and fixes.
- Participating in project planning and management decisions.
- Collaborating with developers to maintain adherence to established processes and quality standards.
- Ensuring the security of systems against cybersecurity threats.
- Facilitating communication between stakeholders and development teams.
Skills & Prerequisites:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
- Working knowledge of databases, SQL, and Docker.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Understanding of monitoring and observability tools.
- Basic knowledge of web servers, firewalls, SSL, and web security.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms (certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in Linux systems administration.
- Optional: Knowledge of Advanced Networking.
