As a Software Quality Engineer in the Azure Storage team, you’ll be responsible for building, improving, and supporting highly scalable and performant services that ensure reliable, secure, and available access to storage for customers. You’ll face challenges such as monitoring, analyzing, and designing systems to meet the growing data needs while ensuring data privacy, protection, and compliance. The role offers an opportunity to develop your technical skills in cloud services and storage while working in a globally distributed team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test plans for multiple features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and solidify test plans.
- Identify areas for further exploration and testing based on available data.
- Apply automation best practices to create and implement automated testing procedures.
- Maintain and apply automation tools to reduce manual work.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of experience in system testing involving networking, storage, or virtualization, with coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python.
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
- Experience in creating automated regression release testing and applying automation tools throughout the testing process.
