Role Summary:

You’ll be a part of the Data Science & Analytics team at Snowflake. The role focuses on providing data-driven insights to assist decision-making across business teams. You’ll work with large datasets, using modern BI tools to analyze trends, measure performance, and identify areas for growth and optimization. Tools like Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and Streamlit are integral to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with different stakeholders to understand their business needs and provide actionable data insights.
Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and Power BI.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights, optimize processes, and inform business decisions.
Utilize data visualization tools and frameworks (e.g., Streamlit) to build dynamic applications.
Support strategic initiatives by delivering data-driven recommendations.
Present complex data insights in simple, visual formats to influence business decisions at all organizational levels.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Analytical mindset with a passion for extracting insights from data.
Strong business acumen and understanding of key business metrics.
3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field.
Proficient in SQL and BI tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Power BI).
Experience handling large datasets and familiarity with data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
Proficient in data wrangling and analysis using Python libraries like pandas and NumPy.
Familiarity with interactive data visualization or application building using Streamlit or related frameworks.
Strong communication skills to convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail.
Eagerness to stay current with data analytics advancements and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with basic statistical analysis, AI, ML, and collaboration with Data Scientists/ML Scientists.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and big data technologies.
Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline automation.
Experience working with Snowflake is a plus.
