Job Title: Principal Technical Expert in Electromechanics/Electrotechnology

Key Responsibilities:

Lead new product development, localization, and sustaining current Medium Voltage (MV) product ranges.
Manage the design and optimization of MV products from concept to implementation.
Lead the development of architecture and technical specifications for products.
Define and lead product testing and validation plans, working closely with experts, Technical Leaders, and cross-functional teams.
Support testing/verification of products in reputed test labs and analyze results.
Maintain a strong knowledge of MV products, sheet metal design, manufacturing processes, and IEC standards.
Lead verification and validation of parts and sub-assemblies using the CQCS approach.
Estimate costs at the part level and support industrialization efforts.
Lead DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) tools and quality processes.
Ensure manufacturing feasibility and maintenance requirements of designs (DFMA).
Collaborate with product managers and other Board Of Change (BOC) team members.

Required Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication.
Self-motivated and highly organized.
Proficiency in MV product knowledge, sheet metal design, and manufacturing technologies.
Experience with engineering change management processes.
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, preferably Pro-E/Creo, and knowledge of PDM and PLM.
Strong understanding of basic mechanical design parameters such as dimensioning, tolerance, and material properties.
Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical/electronic devices in Medium Voltage.
Proficiency in IEC standards.
Hands-on experience with tolerance analysis, GD&T, and value engineering/analysis (preferred).
