Role Overview: As a Senior Analytics Specialist, you will join Razorpay’s central analytics team, contributing to high-impact projects in a dynamic and diverse environment. You will work with large, complex data sets to solve significant business problems through data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large, complex data sets to solve high-impact business problems using data mining, experimentation, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques.
- Develop a strong understanding of Razorpay’s business and products, conducting analyses to derive insights, validate hypotheses, and model problems with machine learning as needed.
- Apply excellent problem-solving skills to independently scope, deconstruct, and formulate solutions from first principles, incorporating outside-in and state-of-the-art perspectives.
- Engage closely with the product life cycle, from ideation to reviewing Product Requirement Documents, defining success criteria, instrumenting for product features, and assessing impact to recommend enhancements.
- Automate recurring use cases and generate insights through self-serve platforms.
- Create compelling narratives with business insights, aligning with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Collaborate with Business, Product, and Data Engineering teams to improve data accuracy and quality through continuous feedback and scoping.
- Set high standards in project management, owning the scope and timelines for your team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with large, complex data sets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and validate hypotheses with rigorous methodologies.
- Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning.
- Excellent communication skills to convey insights and strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage timelines effectively.
