Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance software applications in C++.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
Implement performance and quality modules.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming.
Strong proficiency in C++ 11 or above, with a fair knowledge of the language specification.
Experience working in Linux/Unix systems.
Strong logical and analytical skills.
Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms.
Familiarity with templating in C++.
Knowledge of the latest C++ standards.
Knowledge of Linux system programming, multithreading, and IPC.
Knowledge of Linux build system, CMake, shell script.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and Gerrit.
Familiarity with IBM Rational tools like DOORS, Synergy, Jazzccm/RTC.
Knowledge of design patterns and their usage and tools like Visio.
