Responsibilities: As a Senior Associate, you will:

You will:

  • Play an integral role in PwC’s core assurance services provided to clients.
  • Understand the process workflow from initiation to completion, manage workflow within the firm’s tool, and document results appropriately.
  • Participate in various projects and collaborate across multiple teams, demonstrating creative thinking and timely completion of tasks.
  • Consistently demonstrate teamwork dynamics by contributing positively to the team environment and proactively seeking guidance and feedback.
  • Serve as a participant in communications with numerous Engagement teams.

Specialization Areas:

  • Financial statement review procedures, understanding the relationships between supporting documentation and financial statements in accordance with auditing standards.
  • Conduct tests of details and controls for fixed assets, inventory, other asset additions, interest income/expense, and dividends, including policy understanding, auditing procedures, and qualitative item evaluation.
  • Prepare documents based on audit policy and standard templates, including information gathering and document population.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Perform work and provide deliverables according to DC User Guide instructions as applied to engagement teamwork request submissions.
  • Maintain working knowledge of DC User Guides.
  • Monitor time and manage deadlines.
  • Adhere to PwC SDC policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training, coaching, and other developmental opportunities.
  • Perform quality checks on all deliverables to ensure consistency with quality parameters.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or Chartered Accountant.

Relevant Qualifications:

  • CA/CPA

Experience:

  • CA: 1+ years
  • CPA: 4+ years
