Main Responsibilities:
PineBridge is seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in managing large data sets, either as a data engineer or data scientist. Experience with the application and development of machine learning algorithms to explore and analyze multidimensional data is highly valued. In this role, you will collaborate directly with traders, researchers, and portfolio managers to identify market opportunities that enhance executable strategies. You will be a crucial member of our successful quant equity team, which has a strong track record.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with traders, researchers, and portfolio managers to discover market opportunities.
- Apply statistical, data analysis, and modeling skills throughout the full life cycle of trading strategy development and execution.
- Handle data wrangling, feature engineering, algorithm development, model training, back-testing, simulation, and implementation.
- Receive rapid feedback and observe the immediate impact of your work in our fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to a global team, including collaborating with our NY-based team, while being based in Mumbai.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 0-7 years of experience.
- Postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in building and applying machine learning techniques.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ and R.
- Experience working with and analyzing time series and reference data.
- Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing experience is a significant plus.
- Proven experience in working with and drawing conclusions from large datasets.
