As a Business Intelligence Lead, you’ll have complete ownership and responsibility for analytics support in your area, from identifying problems to presenting insights to the CEO if necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Define critical metrics and monitor performance trends, influencing interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with business and product functions to translate business problems into analytical problem statements.
- Own the insight generation phase, conducting thorough analysis to provide unbiased answers.
- Contribute individual thoughts on improving critical metrics and act as a business owner backed by data.
- Serve as the analytics and visualization subject matter expert, ensuring dashboards are user-friendly.
- Mentor other analysts and actively participate in the hiring and onboarding processes.
Requirements:
- 4 to 6 years of analytics experience in relevant roles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Curiosity about the product and its functioning.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and consolidation.
- Intuition for handling big data sources.
- Working knowledge of Excel and visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Understanding of data-analysis languages such as R, Python, and core statistical concepts.
- Experience in building ML models is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
