Engineering at Peakflo: The engineering team at Peakflo is seeking quick-thinking, problem-solving backend engineers to drive the development of cutting-edge fintech products. The SaaS product utilizes TypeScript, Next.js, React.js, and WordPress. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with the CTO & Founder to shape product development and company culture.
- Design, develop, and enhance features while ensuring scalability and performance.
- Craft beautiful, pixel-perfect frontends.
- Write high-quality, testable, and maintainable code.
- Work with the technology stack, including TypeScript, Firebase, GCP, Cypress, Jest, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Engage in planning, pair programming, code review, and testing with team members.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business requirements, explore solutions, and prioritize tasks for maximum value delivery.
Qualifications:
- Passion for building B2B fintech applications.
- Interest in integrating complex 3rd party finance solutions.
- Ability to ensure smooth scaling of systems, both software and human.
- Transparent and collaborative work style within a distributed team.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and a CS education.
- Versatility in backend system architecture, API design, and frontend development (HTML/CSS).
- Focus on writing readable, testable, and maintainable code with observability in mind.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with async backend jobs.
- Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
