Team Overview: Join the PayPal.com web team as a Full Stack JavaScript Engineer. You will collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and senior engineers to create outstanding solutions and products.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Work with Designers, Product Owners, and Domain Technical Leads to develop robust software solutions.
- Estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and manage production issues.
- Engage in a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on continuous innovation and improvement.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test web applications and services following best practices.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to craft excellent product experiences.
- Work closely with peers and senior engineers within and across teams.
- Assist with application deployments in the Cloud environment.
- Ensure high availability of applications and services with operations teams.
- Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
- Identify and document best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with a growth mindset.
- Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns.
- Passion for writing clean, readable, and scalable code.
- Experience with client and server-side JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Node.js, and Webpack.
- Experience in developing automated unit and functional tests.
- Proficient with versioning tools like Git and CI/CD.
- Knowledge in SEO, page optimizations, CDN, Content Management, and related tools.
- Experience in building and using RESTful APIs; exposure to GraphQL is a plus.
