The Technical Analyst 1-Support role at Oracle is an entry-level position that requires between 0 to 2+ years of experience. The primary responsibilities involve supporting front-end applications through troubleshooting, investigating issues, working with databases (especially SQL), and collaborating with both clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigating front-end application issues, capturing relevant information, and testing workflows.
  • Using back-end techniques such as gathering log files, querying tables, and updating database fields.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and internal collaborators through both written and verbal channels.
  • Documenting notes, activities, and resolutions throughout the investigation.
  • Prioritizing work based on severity and balancing client and business needs.
  • Collaborating across teams to ensure that issues are addressed appropriately.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in application support, client/customer support, incident management, problem management, or change management.
  • Knowledge of SQL is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including the 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST shift, and provide on-call support.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SQL.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities across regions.
  • Problem-solving skills and experience in technical troubleshooting.
