About the Role: As a Data Analyst at Gracenote, you’ll be an integral part of the Content operations team responsible for managing metadata ingestion and enrichment for our clients. Your role will focus on leveraging our extensive metadata content to provide insights into data quality. Key responsibilities include measuring data quality, accessing and combining datasets, and supporting proactive client communication regarding database health and product quality. Proficiency in analytical systems, data visualization, and data automation, along with experience in AWS cloud services, is advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of Gracenote data flows and provide insights into data quality across Video, Music, and Sports clients.
  • Utilize various tools to implement modular code and refine data queries from multiple databases, data warehouses, and data lakes for data analysis and visualization.
  • Integrate, assemble, validate, and disseminate data from various systems to present feasibility and data quality recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Analyze and validate data quality measures and thresholds, implementing quality escapes, reports, and dashboards to monitor and analyze metrics and KPIs for GN Content.
  • Document thoroughly all reporting and analysis projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, data warehousing, dashboarding, and reporting, involving large datasets and multiple data sources.
  • Experience in data analytics, ability to analyze and provide insights without advanced familiarity with the dataset.
  • Proficiency in creating KPIs and using BI reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Extensive experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, Talend) with a track record of clean, efficient code design.
  • Strong communication skills in spoken and written English for working with global partners.
