Position: SDE I – Backend

Location

  • Gurugram (Remote/Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Development: Coding, fixing, executing, and versioning existing code for applications.
  • Platform Design: Assisting in planning, designing, and executing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) backend platforms, primarily focusing on REST-based Web services.
  • Technology Stack: Utilizing technologies such as SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, and RESTful Web Services, while adhering to design patterns.
  • Code Quality: Writing robust, scalable, and secure code with a strong emphasis on performance optimization.
  • Defect Management: Tracking defects, collaborating with business owners and users to triage bugs, and managing a backlog.
  • Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment and establishing professional networks with subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills:
    • 1-3 years of experience with proficiency in Java/J2EE development.
    • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud environments.
    • Experience with scripting languages for automated build/deployments is a plus.
  • Additional Skills (Preferred):
    • Experience with SOA, Multitenant platforms, and SaaS platforms.
