Position Summary:
The Delivery Coordinator acts as the primary liaison between the supply chain and Customer Project Managers. Responsible for maintaining proactive communication and interaction with Customer Project Managers and Supply Chain personnel regarding order status, especially in the absence of an Implementation Coordinator. This role entails direct engagement with relevant employees on matters such as queries, problems, change decisions, or required information, ensuring smooth day-to-day order management operations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to exceed expectations without constant supervision.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Execute Order Change activities in ERP systems.
- Maintain accuracy of Scheduled Arrival Dates on customer orders to facilitate proper sourcing and delivery.
- Restructure orders to generate staging configurations as needed.
- Ensure Promise Dates are adhered to meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with Buyers to address supply and delivery exceptions potentially impacting on-time or complete delivery of hardware and software products.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure material availability aligns with customer delivery requirements.
- Review excess inventory for rework and product substitution.
- Provide management with updates on potential risks or issues.
