Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, test, and optimize scalable data architectures.
- Perform data extractions, transform data for usability by analysts and scientists, and load data into platforms.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the bank’s data structures and metrics, advocating necessary changes for product development.
- Practice DevOps in data engineering, conducting root cause analysis, and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with core technology and architecture teams to build data knowledge and solutions.
- Understand data platform cost drivers to build cost-effective and strategic solutions.
- Source new data using appropriate tools and integrate it into overall solutions for customers.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of data usage and dependencies with wider teams and end customers.
- Experience in ETL technical design, including data quality testing, cleansing, monitoring, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages with a solid grasp of data and software engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with modern code development practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage proactively with various stakeholders.
