Job Description: Nasdaq is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team in Chennai – Prestige. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and implementing solutions to address information technology needs. This includes working on both new and existing applications, systems architecture, integration services, and applications infrastructure to meet client requirements. You will review system requirements and business processes, and then proceed to code, test, debug, and implement software solutions accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, modify, and adapt software solutions to meet client requirements.
- Review system requirements and business processes to ensure alignment.
- Code, test, debug, and implement software solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare detailed specifications.
- Develop new technology product ideas or strategic product extensions.
- Establish technology product specifications and ensure successful product development and implementation.
- Follow work instructions, coding standards, and best practices.
- Develop program logic for new applications and modify logic in existing applications.
- Implement and monitor system improvements to increase efficiency.
- Support applications to ensure compatibility across multiple computing platforms and browsers.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in software development.
- Special Qualifications:
- Knowledge of at least one or more programming or scripting languages, such as C, C++, C#, .NET, Java, Perl, etc.
- Familiarity with at least one or more operating systems, such as Windows, Linux/Unix, etc.
