Udaan is Myntra’s flagship internship program designed specifically for individuals with disabilities, providing opportunities for seamless integration into the corporate world. Interns will work with top talent in the e-commerce industry on projects suited to their abilities and interests.
About the Team:
The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Inbound Engineering team focuses on several critical areas, including:
- Pricing & Promotion
- Buying & Selection
- Catalog Management
- Partner Management
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Market Intelligence
- Finance Engineering
SCM at Myntra drives the demand-supply connection in the business using advanced technology like distributed computing, machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and scalable data storage. The team works on complex systems to predict demand from millions of customers and connect it with thousands of suppliers using homegrown tech.
Key technologies used include Node.js, GoLang, Java, Python, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Springboot, ReactJS, and more.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Write maintainable, scalable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with peers in a cross-functional team during the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Follow coding standards, unit testing, and adhere to release cycles.
- Commit to deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in large-scale applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience working with distributed systems that handle large datasets.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE.
- Understanding of web technologies and any relational database management system (RDBMS) or messaging systems.
