Joining Myntra’s Storefront team means diving into the heart of customer-facing technology. Here, we work on an immensely scalable platform, leveraging cutting-edge open-source technologies to deliver a personalized shopping experience to millions of users. If you’re passionate about designing fault-tolerant systems capable of handling millions of requests daily, especially during high-sale events, Myntra Storefront is the ideal place for you.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Craft maintainable, scalable, and efficient front-end code for the portal and alternative channels.
- Design and develop user interfaces for our business-sensitive consumer-facing e-commerce portal.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Adhere to coding standards, conduct unit-testing, and participate in code reviews.
- Maintain alignment with release cycles and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1-5 years of experience in developing front-ends for large-scale web-based consumer products.
- Proficiency in mobile platforms and browsers.
- Strong understanding of UI architecture and component/framework design.
- Expertise in JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, with a focus on building advanced responsive layouts.
- Background in React.js is essential.
- Ability to write code compatible across various browsers and clients.
- Familiarity with backend systems, including web services and APIs, from a consumer perspective.
- Bachelor’s (B Tech/BE) or Master’s (M Tech/MS) degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
