Roles & Responsibilities:
- Utilize structured problem-solving skills and appropriate tools & techniques for open-ended problems.
- Independently create productized analytics solutions or frameworks.
- Develop data-backed solutions for business and product problems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and deep dive analysis of product issues.
- Maintain and run the reporting system, presenting insights weekly.
- Build templates and dashboards in Power BI and Google Sheets for operational and management reporting.
- Extract data for ad hoc business analysis requests.
- Analyze business processes and metrics to understand and improve product performance.
- Evaluate and track metrics as per business goals, exploring additional metrics for deeper product insights.
- Work in a dynamic environment across multiple projects with varying complexity.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 1 – 3 years of experience with large data sets and quantitative analysis.
- Basic understanding of statistics and experience with statistical models (e.g., hypothesis testing, product experimentation, A/B Testing, regressions).
- Excellent SQL skills and intermediate knowledge of data manipulation languages like R or Python.
- Experience with ecommerce funnels and retention.
- Ability to think critically about product and business metrics.
- Knowledge of business modeling and financial metrics is a bonus.
- Quick learner with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in designing and building dashboards in Power BI using best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline from a reputed institute.
