JOB DESCRIPTION

Web Developer I is responsible for multiple web and back office applications written on .NET development platforms. This role involves analyzing, designing, coding, debugging, assisting in testing, and documenting software. The developer participates in all phases of the software development life cycle and is responsible for both new and existing applications. Quick response to issues brought by internal and external customers and adherence to Mouser standards are crucial.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIALS

  • Evaluate new or modified software programs based on user requests and produce a draft of technical specifications, including a high-level estimate of time to complete.
  • Develop, test, and implement applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, .Net Framework, Web Forms, SQL Server 2012/2016, Visual Studio 2015 and above, TFS, CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap, JSON, AJAX, and other related web technologies.
  • Possess a good understanding of the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) and Web Content Management (WCMS or CMS) industry, with a particular focus on Microsoft .NET technologies, including MVC and MVC Core.
  • Have a solid understanding of web-based Microsoft technologies.
  • Be knowledgeable in database design, writing SQL, T-SQL scripts, and stored procedures in SQL Server.
  • Develop applications for use in a multiplatform environment supporting our worldwide customer base.
  • Be familiar with Agile software development methodology.
  • Develop, test, and implement solutions based on the latest technologies, techniques, and market trends.
  • Adhere to best practices in software development, including writing clean, readable, testable, and easily maintainable code, and actively participate in peer code reviews and creating reference documentation.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, delivering on target.
  • Conduct unit and integration system tests, monitor test results, and take required corrective action.
  • Initiate connection with technical and business users in support of validation testing.
  • Support QA analysis and testing of feature and integration testing.
  • Have experience with Dot net Full stack development.
  • Understand the UI Development process.
  • Handle production environment and issues reported in production.
  • Analyze production issues and find root causes using support tools.
  • Possess good communication skills, be a team player, and work closely with business analysts, designers, architects, other developers, and quality analysts.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 0-4 years of experience in Web Development using several of the languages, tools, and applications listed in the “Skills” section.
