Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality and fitness for purpose of the organization’s data assets, working with Tech teams for storing metadata
- Review integrity of data, both referential and historical
- Measure and report to management on the progress of data quality improvement
- Monitor compliance of information flows and data stores against data quality standards
- Identify areas for data quality improvement and resolve data quality problems through appropriate error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
- Create new rules/processes for data profiling and analysis of data quality against data quality metrics
- Conduct data mining, data cleansing, data updates, reconciliation, and data maintenance activities as per agreed SOPs
- Collaborate with the Global Middle Office (GMO) or other personnel in Moody’s Information Technology (MIT) to make corrections and updates as needed to ensure data accuracy
- Actively participate as a team member, providing support to team members and fostering a team environment
- Cross-train to perform other related business unit tasks
- Work with internal business stakeholders to support updating/improving existing processes
- Participate in Agile scrum teams and contribute to project planning and work prioritization
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree, MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification
- Excellent knowledge of Fixed Income Securities (Bonds, debts) and Reference data (ISIN, CUSIP, CIK’s, and LEI’s)
- Mid-level understanding of Python is essential
- Knowledge of SQL, MS Access, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau preferred
- Excellent verbal and writing skills, project and time management skills, team collaboration, and attention to detail
- Self-starter who understands tasks and manages them independently
- Client-focused, proactive, and results-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong experience working in Agile environments, with experience in design thinking
