Responsibilities
Response and Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve customer technical issues by collaborating across teams and utilizing troubleshooting tools.
Readiness:
- Engage in communities with peers to enhance technical and professional proficiency through training and readiness activities.
Product/Process Improvement:
- Identify potential product defects and contribute to Microsoft’s product improvements by providing feedback.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of technical support, technical consulting, or IT experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in system administration and configuration of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Windows and Linux event logs, syslogs, performance analysis, patch management, and network connectivity.
- Conceptual understanding of Windows Active Directory, security, and access control.
- Ability to automate OS tasks using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.
Desirable Experience:
- Knowledge in web app development (C# or Java), ASP.NET, MVC application support, databases (query language), container solutions (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud computing (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Language Qualification:
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
