About the Team
Being part of Meesho’s Fulfillment and Experience (F&E) team as Assistant Manager will zip you to the cockpit of our ever-burgeoning rocketship. You’ll shape the experience of Bharat’s next billion e-commerce users. We’re an eclectic mix of over 100 professionals, all driven by the first principles of problem-solving.
Our team’s role in this ambitious mission is to reimagine logistics from the ground up completely. This means a host of “zero-to-one” projects to build a supply chain that reimagines e-commerce, not just in India but globally.

About the Role
As Assistant Manager – Operations, you’ll build robust and reliable cost operations in F&E. You’ll achieve it by forging strong collaborations with the Business and Data teams. You’ll work closely with Operations and Biz Fin in cost operations and reconciliation charters to make a robust and reliable supply chain. You’ll own key initiatives and impactful projects to revamp our cost operations.
Your guiding question in this role will be, “Is Meesho the preferred channel of e-commerce for all our customers, small entrepreneurs, and users?” You’ll answer this question every day through user-centric, cost-effective designs and processes. You’ll also own the Cost, Loss, and Reconciliation (COD and Shipment) for Fulfillment and Experience in your charter.
What You Will Do
- Design SOPs that are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with the business strategy of backend operations/processes.
- Work on vendor payments, and billing, with the finance and operations team to continuously improve the efficiency of it and develop automated, effective processes for timely payouts.
- Manage internal/external stakeholders and ensure business process improvements that positively affect operational efficiencies.
- Identify potential gaps in existing processes and work on improving them continuously.
- Partner with analytics, product, fulfillment, 3PL, and leadership teams to reduce business costs.
- Conduct data analysis to develop insights and identify areas of improvement.
- Own a key part of experience improvement for one or more marketplace participants – our entrepreneurs/suppliers/customers.
- Drive program adherence with operations teams and actively work on solving the edge cases which have suboptimal outcomes due to current processes.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 2-4 years of work experience in startups/consumer internet companies/management consulting/operations.
- Strong data-driven mindset to solve problems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to form points of view on business implications.
- Proven track record of defining and driving initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Expertise in multi-front stakeholder management.
