About the Role:
Magicpin is seeking engineers to join their application teams, solving complex engineering problems in e-commerce using a tech stack that includes microservices in Go, Java, Python, built on K8s, and using various relational/no-SQL and public cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver scalable solutions with close to zero defects.
- Produce high-quality code, unit test cases, and deployment scripts.
- Learn and dive deep into new technologies, especially modern data storage and streaming open-source systems (BigTable, Kafka, Solr, Elastic).
- Build high throughput/low latency systems.
- Develop a solid understanding of CS fundamentals (Operating Systems, Databases, Data Structures).
- Collaborate closely with senior team members to develop better solutions.
- Exhibit a hacker’s mindset to solve problems efficiently.
Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
- 1+ years of work experience.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages including Java/Scala, Python, or C++.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Solid engineering principles and a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- In-depth knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL, and Application servers.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
