Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end implementation of data pipelines on cloud-based data platforms.
- Demonstrate strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and possibly Java or Scala.
- Write SQL, structure data, and apply data storage practices.
- Use PySpark for data processing and transformation.
- Build stream-processing applications using technologies like Spark Streaming, Apache Flink, or Kafka.
- Maintain and develop CI/CD pipelines based on GitLab.
- Assemble large, complex structured and unstructured datasets meeting functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Work with cloud data platforms and services.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain code quality, and ensure best practices are followed.
- Debug and upgrade existing systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience with Snowflake and knowledge of transforming data using Data Build Tool (dbt).
- Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and possibly Java or Scala.
- Experience with AWS and API integration, with knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
