Responsibilities:

Build and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable client-facing and internal APIs.
Write unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Take ownership of products/features: end-to-end development with testing, ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements:

1+ year of experience in writing production backend services at scale.
Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, and databases.
Experience working with SQL databases, particularly in data modeling and scalable schema design.
Familiarity with message queues, NoSQL databases, and caching systems.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and building services for scale.
Basic knowledge of Python, scripting, and common data-science toolkits is a plus.
Bonus points for experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
