Description:
As an Associate Software Engineer – Site Reliability Engineering (ASE SRE), you will play a crucial role in maintaining our systems and services to ensure high reliability, stability, and performance. Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams, you will automate tasks and develop necessary dashboards to support key services in production.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to develop, automate, deploy, support, and monitor both existing and new services in test and production environments.
- Develop scripts, deployment frameworks, monitors, self-healing/auto remediation tools, and automate processes.
- Demonstrate strong collaborative skills by engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to incidents, taking necessary steps to restore service and return operations to normalcy efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in DevOps or SRE role in a highly customer-focused environment.
- Basic understanding of Cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in Linux OS, with a grasp of network infrastructure and databases.
- Familiarity with deployment/configuration management tools like Jenkins, GitHub, etc.
- Good understanding of APIs and proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python/Shell scripting for automation.
- Cloud certification is a plus.
- B.S/M.S in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
