At CommerceIQ, you will:
- Take ownership of developing, testing, and releasing features within specified timelines and with high quality standards that directly impact revenue and margin for top brands.
- Design features with scalability and high availability in mind.
- Collaborate with the team, conduct code reviews, engage in design discussions, and mentor other developers.
- Act as the primary owner of your feature, collaborating directly with product teams to ensure maximum customer impact.
- Participate in all stages of the software development cycle as a member of a Scrum team.
Skillset:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proficiency in Java development with strong software system design, problem-solving, and object-oriented coding skills.
- Experience with distributed transaction-processing systems or asynchronous messaging technology.
- Solid understanding of system performance trade-offs, load balancing, and engineering for high availability.
- Strong commitment to building quality software and taking end-to-end responsibility for developed features.
- Familiarity with enterprise information systems, service-oriented architectures, and operational data stores is advantageous.
- BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable institution.
