Role Purpose:

The Integration Architect is responsible for creating exceptional integration architectural solutions, offering thought leadership, and enabling delivery teams to provide superior client engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Design and Solutioning:

  • Define integration architecture for new deals or significant changes in existing deals.
  • Develop an enterprise-wide integration architecture ensuring systems are seamlessly integrated while being scalable, reliable, and manageable.
  • Provide digital integration solutions for RFPs from clients, ensuring comprehensive design assurance.
  • Analyze applications, exchange points, data formats, connectivity requirements, and technology environments to set a robust integration solution design framework.
  • Offer technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions using modern technology.
  • Define current state integration solutions and identify improvements, options, and tradeoffs for target state solutions.
  • Document integration architecture comprehensively, covering logical, deployment, and data views.
  • Validate integration solutions or prototypes from technological, cost structure, and customer differentiation perspectives.
  • Address problem areas through root cause analysis and provide relevant solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales, program/project, and consulting teams to align solutions with architecture.

Delivery Enablement:

  • Provide optimal delivery solutions and frameworks to delivery teams.
  • Build relationships with technical leaders, product owners, peer architects, and other stakeholders to become a trusted advisor.
  • Develop and establish relevant integration metrics (KPI/SLA) to drive results.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to integration.
  • Ensure quality assurance of integration architecture and provide technical support to delivery teams.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the integration framework and related artifacts.

Client Engagement:

  • Support pre-sales teams by presenting the solution design and principles to clients.
  • Coordinate with client teams to meet all requirements and create effective integration solutions.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and strong technical capability in client interactions to build trust and confidence.

Competency Building and Branding:

  • Complete necessary training and certifications on integration middleware.
  • Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs), case studies, and demos for new growth areas.
  • Write white papers, blogs, and other thought leadership content on digital integration.
  • Participate in forums and contribute to Wipro’s market recognition through analyst rankings, client testimonials, and partner credits.
  • Mentor developers, designers, and junior architects, contributing to their career development.

Team Management:

  • Anticipate new talent requirements based on market trends or client needs.
  • Support in hiring the right resources for the team.
  • Ensure proper onboarding and training for team members.
  • Provide inputs to project managers for setting appraisal objectives and conducting performance reviews.

Stakeholder Interaction:

  • Internal: Delivery teams, Pre-sales teams, Practice teams, Talent Transformation Team, Talent acquisition team.
  • External: Vendors/Partners, Industry forums, Analysts.
