Your Role and Responsibilities:
Be a part of the team at Apptio that is creating innovative partner solutions for the future. The Partner Technology Services group will collaborate with our partner network and internal departments to create and launch collaborative solutions. In this position, you will need to comprehend the technical requirements of our partners, design solutions that benefit both partners and customers, and serve as the technical bridge between our company and partner entities. Offer technical assistance and training to our partners to guarantee the effective implementation and acceptance of joint solutions.
Essential Skills and Knowledge Base:
- Support and upkeep customers who have integrated the Apptio SaaS solution, promptly resolving any issues they encounter.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of clients, including assisting with data loading, ensuring the integrity of dashboard and report outputs, and other related tasks.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients, striving to attain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Be an integral part of our support team, working within a startup environment and going above and beyond to surpass customer expectations.
- Utilize your business acumen and technical expertise to analyze and address complex issues, promoting industry best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with various departments within the company to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
Desired Background and Work Experience:
- Proficiency in relational database concepts and their practical application is required.
- Additionally, a foundation in basic programming skills and web development is necessary, including familiarity with languages such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Experience with Cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP is preferred.
- The ability to work with large data sets in Excel to identify and resolve data-related issues efficiently is essential.
- Candidates should also be adept at creating technical designs through iterative mockups.
- Knowledge and experience in IT services and financial management, encompassing budgeting, cost allocations, program portfolio management, and application/infrastructure support, are vital.
- An operational understanding of IT infrastructure domains, including data centers, network/communications, server utilization, virtual environments, storage, and application development/maintenance, is expected.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must, along with proficiency in data analysis and manipulation.
- The ideal candidate should be able to grasp complex spreadsheets and data swiftly, translating processes into the Apptio solution using formulaic logic.
- A self-starter who can quickly grasp challenging concepts with minimal guidance and switch between multiple complex tasks is desirable. The ability to break down problems into fundamental components to pinpoint root causes efficiently is crucial.
- A client-centric approach with a focus on customer advocacy is essential, along with strong communication and presentation skills as a team player.
Required Education: A bachelor’s degree is a must.
Preferred Education: A master’s degree or higher is preferred.
