The Research Data Team:
The data team at HowGood focuses on decarbonizing supply chains in the food and beverage industry while considering environmental and social impacts holistically. Responsibilities include wrangling and ingesting customer data, peer reviewing teammates’ work, designing custom reports, and contributing to process improvements. Collaboration with other teams is essential. The ideal candidate should possess technical proficiency, effective communication skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant data work experience post-graduation
- Experience working remotely
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Good judgment and attention to detail
- Availability to overlap with East coast hours
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and spreadsheets
- Strong mathematics skills (Master’s level applied statistics preferred)
- Familiarity with data management, ETL techniques, and data ingestion
- Experience with QA/QC testing and data troubleshooting
- Knowledge of AWS Glue, Step, S3, Admin, or similar data tooling is advantageous
- Experience in classification, NLP, statistical machine learning modeling, Python Regex library, and Pyspark is a plus
- Familiarity with Mac OS and Google suite
