About the Business:
The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) serves as a core competency hub, boasting a team of approximately 2300 skilled engineers. Our operations encompass tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation, and commissioning. Over the past decade, INOPC has evolved into our largest operations center, with teams located in Chennai, Bangalore, and Gurugram. We support Hitachi Energy units across 40+ countries, executing engineering and commissioning projects in over 80 countries worldwide.
Your Responsibilities:
- Hands-on development and contribution to software architecture definition.
- Detailed design based on Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles and patterns.
- Creation of implementation proposals and design documents.
- Full lifecycle Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) involvement.
- Active participation in coding, debugging, and collaboration with global teams (including product management and multisite development teams).
- Exploration of new technologies to enhance project capabilities.
- Understanding of systems engineering, interface points, and software quality factors.
- Commitment to process compliance within the project.
