Job Description: As an Engagement Abuse Analyst at Google, based in Hyderabad, India, you’ll play a crucial role in devising strategies to mitigate network abuse on YouTube. You’ll possess a blend of analytical prowess and strategic vision to address short-term challenges while aligning with long-term objectives.
This role may entail weekend on-call duties on a rotational basis. Additionally, you may encounter graphic, controversial, or offensive video content in line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines during team escalations.

Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced statistical methodologies to decipher the impact of abuse within the YouTube ecosystem, contributing to the development of new workflows targeting various abuse vectors.
- Grasp intricate technical concepts and systems to derive meaningful insights, effectively communicating findings and methodologies.
- Uphold and enhance quality standards by delivering regular metric feedback to the global team, implementing technological solutions to streamline quality assurance processes and develop scalable training modules for emerging workflows.
- Conduct fraud and spam investigations utilizing diverse data sources, pinpoint product vulnerabilities, and spearhead anti-abuse experiments to forestall future incidents. Collaborate with engineers and engage cross-functionally with stakeholders to enhance workflows through process enhancements, automation, and the creation of anti-abuse systems.
- Curate high-quality training materials, foster consensus, and maintain transparent communication with business stakeholders regarding YouTube’s Scaled Abuse initiatives.
