Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in data management, metrics analysis, experiment design, and automation.
- Experience with classification systems, ranking systems, or similar.

- Experience translating analytical insights into business strategies and actions.
- Experience creating opportunities to innovate, conceptualize, and complete while working with global teams.
- Experience collecting, managing, and synthesizing large datasets and information from disparate sources, statistical modeling, data mining, and data analysis.
About the Job: As a Scaled Abuse Analyst for the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) within YouTube Trust and Safety, you will focus on identifying abuse patterns and trends within the program. You’ll play a vital role in developing strategies to reduce network abuse on YouTube’s business generation program.
This role involves exposure to graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive video content during team escalations, adhering to YouTube’s Community Guidelines. Additionally, on-call work during weekends and holidays may be required on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced statistical methods to large, complex datasets to understand the impact of abuse on the YouTube ecosystem. Contribute to the development of strategies and workflows against known vectors of abuse.
- Learn intricate technical concepts and systems to deliver meaningful results. Communicate highly technical findings and methodologies clearly.
- Ensure quality by providing regular feedback metrics to the Global team. Manage technological solutions to streamline quality assurance and produce scalable training materials for emerging workflows.
- Conduct fraud and spam investigations using various data sources, identify product vulnerabilities, and execute anti-abuse experiments to prevent abuse. Collaborate with engineers and engage cross-functionally with stakeholders to enhance workflows through process improvements, automation, and anti-abuse system creation.
- Develop high-quality training materials, foster consensus, and maintain communication for YouTube Scaled Abuse with business stakeholders.
