Job Title: Business Analyst – Cost Model Analyst

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management Engineering, or MBA (Finance/Operations/Marketing)

Experience: Experience within the Aerospace industry is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze historical engine maintenance cost data to predict future costs and failure rates.
2. Build functional expertise in aviation business processes to understand modeling requirements and end business goals.
3. Support the creation and update of techno-commercial engine overhaul data into the Model.
4. Gather data from different sources, extract pricing model-specific information, and review it for accuracy.
5. Interact with data modeling experts to understand updates and expected impacts on the model.
6. Upload data to the Web-based Engine Overhaul Pricing Model and analyze its impact on financials.
7. Review changes to the model with pricing, sales, and engineering teams and obtain approvals from stakeholders.
8. Define approach, interact with clients, lay out data requirements, manage resources for analysis, build models, and deliver reports.
9. Use superior communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills to frame decisions for senior management and optimize decision-making.
10. Excel at delivering high levels of client service in a fast-paced environment.
11. Work independently to meet and exceed goals, as well as effectively collaborate in a team environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management Engineering, or MBA (Finance/Operations/Marketing)

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:

• Experience within the Aerospace industry
• Excellent Data Analysis skills
• Knowledge of forecasting methods
• Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint
• Excellent Communication skills
• Team Player
• Proactive, Self-Starter
• Ability to work under pressure
