Job Description:
Ford Motor Company is seeking a Senior Privacy Analyst for the Model e EVDD privacy engineering team to support connected vehicle data privacy. In this role, you will drive privacy-by-design for the EVDD organization, implement governance, investigate privacy issues, and engage in other initiatives to protect our customers’ digital privacy. This hybrid position is available in Dearborn, MI, Seattle, WA, and Palo Alto, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Establish privacy-by-design processes and standards for end-to-end data-intensive software development.
- Collaborate with legal, privacy office, product, and engineering teams to investigate, mitigate, and resolve privacy issues.
- Contribute to the development of privacy compliance strategies, requirements, and solutions.
- Support privacy impact assessments and governance reviews.
- Manage and implement privacy policies for connected vehicle data systems.
- Develop and provide privacy training.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Privacy Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data privacy, protection, governance, or related fields.
- 1+ years of experience in data analytics for issue investigation and data-driven decision making using SQL or Python.
- 1+ years of experience in business and engineering requirements development, communication, and management.
- Familiarity with global privacy and AI regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, Data Act, AI Act, CCPA, and US state privacy laws).
- 1+ years of experience in areas such as the software development life cycle, telemetry data life cycle, data protection, data governance, or cybersecurity.
Preferred Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Privacy Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills to assess privacy risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ability to identify and address privacy issues within an organization.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience in software development, testing, DevOps, or data science.
- CIPT/CRPM certification.
- Experience in data ontology and taxonomy.
- Experience in cybersecurity.
