About the Role
The Trust & Safety Compliance (T&S Com.) Assistant Manager / Junior Technical Program Manager will manage all initiatives driven by the T&S Com. function, including:
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts from all regulatory areas within the Ethics & Compliance function.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating Marketplace Compliance and Regulatory risks related to prohibited and restricted products and bad actors violating Flipkart’s Compliance policies.
- Working with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Business, Legal, Compliance, and other teams for inter-dependencies and driving projects and BAU activities across Marketplace entities.
- Executing and managing the Seller Risk mitigation Charter, including Seller Awareness initiatives and actions for compliance violations.
- Using extensive data analytics to identify risks of prohibited products across platforms.
- Monitoring and enhancing existing controls for blocking prohibited/restricted products.
- Identifying scalable solutions for mitigating platform risks.
- Enforcing T&S Compliance policies for prohibited items and non-compliant third-party sellers.
- Driving standardization and automation where possible.
- Overseeing data dashboarding and visualization.
- Assisting in formulating reports and presentations.
- Managing stakeholders from other teams.
About the Team
Trust & Safety Compliance is a key function within the Flipkart Ethics & Compliance Group, aimed at enhancing overall compliance to regulations on the platform for items and sellers. The function involves understanding prohibited and restricted items, potential violation scenarios, item listing risks, and seller risks, and developing scalable interventions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with regulatory experts within the Ethics & Compliance function.
- Identify and mitigate Marketplace Compliance and Regulatory risks.
- Work with stakeholders across various teams.
- Manage Seller Risk mitigation initiatives.
- Leverage data analytics for risk identification.
- Monitor and enhance controls for prohibited products.
- Identify scalable risk mitigation solutions.
- Enforce T&S Compliance policies.
- Drive standardization and automation.
- Oversee data dashboarding and visualization.
- Assist in reporting and presentations.
- Manage stakeholders from other teams.
Requirements
- Strong leadership qualities and team motivation skills.
